David’s Talk with Anne Gets Serious

Afterward, David had a serious talk with Anne. He asked her what was wrong, and what she had been doing with her daughter. Anne again tried to play coy, but David was not convinced. He told her that he knew she had been up to something, and he wanted to know what it was. But she still denied any wrongdoing.
