Asio Megascops: Owl Species

The Asio Megascops is a medium-sized species of owl that can be found in many parts of the world, most commonly in North and Central America and parts of Europe. It has a round head with large, yellow eyes, a long tail, and long wings which give it a very distinctive silhouette. Its plumage is mainly brown with streaks of white or gray on its back. During the day, this owl will rest in trees or look down from higher perches to spot prey on the ground.
