17 – Specific way of dressing up

Induction into the club and membership comes with a specific piece of cloth: a vest with the club’s name and patch on the back. So when you’re riding, people know where you belong. There are also more must-have for motorcycle gang initiates.

Club charters all have different ways of dressing. There are some which don’t allow shorts, some don’t allow their members to wear anything but black. Some members are allowed to wear jeans and camouflage patterned clothing. And these strict rules are for neighbouring charters to be differentiated on the roads.
