Perilously Near to Engines

As more birds attempted to attack the aeroplane, Jason saw that the birds were getting closer to the engine. He concluded that this was a direct result of the increased number of bird attacks.

Jason realised that the situation may become quite dangerous if a significant number of birds collided with the motors. He immediately focused all of his attention on getting to the runway as quickly as he could, until he sensed a loud explosion.
